Shimla - Manali Tour

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi you will be met at the airport/ railway station and transferred to your hotel.
Later, you will proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Delhi covering Laxmi Narayan Temple,
Qutab Minar, India Gate, and President House. Overnight stay in your hotel in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi - Shimla
After breakfast you will be driven to Shimla , a picturesque town perched at 7,000 feet above sea
level. The combination of brisk mountain air, orchards and colonial charm still make Shimla a dream
getaway. When you have checked into your hotel the rest of the day is free to explore the many
sights here. Overnight is in your hotel in Shimla.

Day 3: Shimla – Kufri - Shimla
The morning is free forsightseeing around Shimla which may include visits to the Kalbadevi Temple,
Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or Christ Church which was built in the 1850s and is famous for
its stained glass windows. In the afternoon an excursion to Kufri, a 30 minutes drive from Shimla, is
a must. Return to your hotel in Shimla later in the day. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 4: Shimla - Kullu - Manali
This morning you will check out from your hotel and drive to Manali. En route you be enchanted by
the Kullu Valley and the Beas River. Once in Manali your evening is free to spend as you wish.
Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 5: Manali
Today is free to see the sights of Manali, including Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashist Bath, a Tibetan
Buddhist Monastery, and Roerich Art Gallery. Later on you can visit Naggar Castle and one of the
local bazaars. Overnight is in Manali.

Day 6: Manali - Rohtang Road
After Breakfast, you will leave for a drive along the Rohtang road to Rohtang Pass at an altitude of
3,940 meters. Due to heavy snow in the winter, this pass is not accessible for almost 8 months.
After enjoying a full day in this beautiful environment you will return to your hotel in Manali for the
night.

Day 7: Manali - Delhi
You will wake up early for the12 hour drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be taken
to your hotel. Overnight in your hotel in Delhi.

Day 8: Delhi
Today you will be taken to either the airport or the railway station for your onward journey. Tour
ends.
