Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi
Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport you will be met by our representative and taken to
your hotel. Overnight is in your hotel in Delhi

Day 2: Delhi - Trivandrum
You will be transferred to the domestic airport to board your plane to Trivandrum. You are met upon
arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight is in your hotel in Trivandrum.

Day 3: Trivandrum
This morning you can visit the famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple which is dedicated to Lord
Vishnu. Rebuilt in 1733, it an excellent example of South Indian architecture. A visit to the Zoological
Park is an option or Napier Museum with its bronze collection, Sri Chitra Art Gallery with paintings
from countries like China, Japan, Java and Bali.

Day 4: Trivandrum - Cape Comorin - Trivandrum
A full day excursion to Cape Comorin in on the schedule. Also called Kanya Kumari, it is the point
where the waters of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean all converge. An
important pilgrimage site, it is famous for the Amman Temple, a symbol of unity and sanctity dedicated
to the virgin Goddess, Kanya Kumari. To the southeast lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial
which reflects an interesting blend of all the architectural styles of India.

Day 5: Trivandrum - Kovalam
Transfer to Kovalam. The rest of the day is free to relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in the
world. The surf here is ideal for surfing, riding a catamaran, fishing, or just to take a cool swim.
Nearby is the Beach Centre of Aquatic Sports. At the Yoga and Health Centre, Yoga classes and
transcendental meditation are held and Ayurvedic oil massages given by experts.

Day 6: Kovalam
Today is another day free to spend as you wish.

Day 7: Kovalam - Alleppey
Drive to Alleppey where you will then board a houseboat for a cruise through the beautiful and tranquil
backwaters. Overnight is on board your houseboat. The coastal town of Alleppey on the Arabian Sea is
the Venice of the East, for the numerous canals that meander through it. Bathing in the backwaters on
the Vemband Lake is refreshing. This town holds a thrilling event of snake-boat race every year in
August. It is also known for its cashew nuts, coir trade, rice, pepper crops & coconuts.

Day 8: Alleppey - Kumarakom
You will arrive in Kumarakom by boat. Kumarakom is one of the loveliest villages in Kerala with
wonderful lake that provides facilities for boating, yachting, fishing, surfing & swimming.

Day 9: Kumarakom - Periyar National Park
Drive to Periyar National Park. Established in 1934, it spans 777 square km and forms part of the high
mountain ranges called The Western Ghats. Among the animals which can be seen are elephants, wild
boar, sambar, tiger, leopard, wild dog, and langur monkeys. The evening is free for a drive through the
sactuary. Overnight in Periyar.

Day 10: Periyar National Park - Munnar
This morning we will leave Periyar for the peaceful hill station Munnar. Munnar is a breathtakingly
beautiful haven of peace and tranquility. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft in Idukki district, Munnar was the
favored summer resort of many British rulers in the colonial days. An unending expanse of tea
plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna can be found in Munnar.
Overnight in Munnar.

Day 11: Munnar
The day is yours to spend as you wish. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 12: Munnar - Cochin
From Munnar we will drive to Cochin. Overnight is in your hotel in Cochin.

Day 13: Cochin
This morning you will tour Cochin where you can watch the local fishermen using their Chinese Fishing
Nets. It truly is an unforgettable sight. Overnight Cochin.

Day 14 : Cochin - Delhi
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Delhi. Tour ends.
