Rajasthan Camel Safari

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi. You will be met on your arrival and taken to your hotel. Overnight is at your
hotel in Delhi.

Days 2 - 3: These two days are set aside for you to relax and to explore the sights of Delhi and Old
Delhi. Overnight is at your hotel in Delh.

Day 4: Delhi - Agra
Today we set off for Agra and the Taj Mahal en route stopping to see the deserted city of Fatehpur
Sikri. Overnight is at our hotel in Agra.

Day 5: Agra - Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
From Agra we travel to see one of India's most famous bird sanctuaries - Bharatpur. Bharatpur was
once a maharaja's hunting ground but now it is where you can view hundreds of species of birds and
other wildlife as well. Overnight is at our hotel in Agra.

Days 6 - 7: Agra - Jaipur
After breakfast we will drive to Jaipur, a showcase of some of Rajasthan's most distinctive
architecture. Here we will explore the Hawa Mahal ("Palace of the Winds"), and go on a memorable
ride by elephant up to Amber Palace. Overnight is at our hotel in Jaipur.

Day 8: Jaipur - Osian
Today, we have a relatively long drive ahead of us as we go from Jaipur to our camp near Osian
where we will take our adventurous camel safari. Overnight is at our camp out in the desert.

Days 9 - 10: Osian - Bishnoi
For these two days we will trek by camel in the lands of the Bishnoi desert tribesmen. Overnight will
be in comfortable tents out in the golden dunes of the desert.

Day 11: Bishnoi - Jaisalmer
After our days in the desert, we drive to the aptly named "Golden City" of Jaisalmer, a medieval city
cut from amber-colored stone. The day is free for you to explore the city or just relax.Overnight is in
our hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 12: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After a morning tour of this golden city we next drive to Jodhpur, the so-called "Blue City."
Overnight is in our hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 13: Jodhpur
Stroll through Jodhpur's bazaar, see the ancient Meherangarh Fort, or marvel at the Moti Mahal
("pearl palace"). Overnight is in our hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 14: Jodhpur - Pushkar
We leave Jodhpur today and start our trip back to Delhi. Along the way we stop off for the day in
Pushkar to view the many temples situated around Pushkar Lake. Overnight is at our hotel in
Pushkar.

Day 15: Pushkar - Delhi
Today we get up early for our driver to Delhi. Overnight is in our hotel in Delhi.

Day 16: Delhi
We are taken to the station or airport for our onward journey. Tour ends.
